Our Master Blast Cricket Programme is designed around modified games of cricket in a fun and social setting. Recommended for boys and girls between 7-10 years old of all abilities. To ensure the safety of all participants, we use plastic bats and rubber cricket balls. Our Master and Junior Blast programs are a path way to our highly successful junior programme. West Ivanhoe Roosters Cricket Club runs junior teams of all ages participating in the North Metro Cricket Association competition.
Junior cricket is played various nights during the week depending on the age group.
As a junior club which encourages family involvement at all ages, the Roosters focus on developing skills within an enjoyable and safe environment.

The Roosters maintain two senior teams. We are adding a third team in the 2021-22 season and always welcome new players. Please get in touch if you are interested in playing.
We train on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Seddon Reserve, starting 6pm, under the guidance of coach Michael Butera.
West Ivanhoe Cricket Club is a very social club. We swap stories among players and members after a game, and hold a number of events throughout the season. We have a fully stocked bar and run frequent barbeques.
